The PTE Home A2 test is for anyone who is already living in the UK and needs an extension to their A1 visa.
PTE Home A2 is the right test for you if you want to extend a visa for ‘Spouse/partner’ or ‘Parent of a dependent’ after 2.5 years, and you need to certify that you can communicate in English at CEFR* level A2.
You will use a computer and headset to listen to, read and answer questions. The PTE Home A2 test has 30-33 items and lasts up to 25 minutes.
PTE Home A2 measures your English speaking and listening skills at CEFR* Level A2.
There are 3 question types:
PTE Home A2 test offers all test takers incredible flexibility. Test results are typically delivered in just 5 working days (and typically within 48 hours).
Test results are either Pass or fail.
