A beginner-level English test that is accepted by the UK Home Office for several family and work visas.
Use PTE Home A1 for the following visas:
- Spouse/Partner visa
- Parent of a Dependent visa
- Representative of an Overseas Business visa
- Tier 2 Sportsperson visa
You will use a computer with a headset to read and listen to questions and provide spoken answers from 32 questions for up to 22 minutes.
PTE Home A1 measures your English speaking and listening skills at CEFR* Level A1.
There are 3 question types:
PTE Home A1 test offers all test takers incredible flexibility. Test results are typically delivered in just 5 working days (and typically within 48 hours).
Test results are either Pass or fail.
